Practical test in bad weather conditions

If your driving test is cancelled due to the bad weather (for example when the roads are icy or if there is flooding), the DVSA will automatically arrange for another test date for you, but you will not be covered for any out of pocket expenses. You’ll normally get a new appointment date in the post within 3 working days, unless the bad weather continues for longer.

Find out what you need to do if there's snow, ice or flooding in your area on the day of your practical driving test.
